IAHTM Names Rocco Romeo & Azher Khan its 2024 “Don Pedder Lifetime Achievement Award” Recipients

Rocco Romeo
From his early days at KPMG to his impactful tenure at HLS Linen Services, Rocco has continuously set new benchmarks in operational efficiency and industry standards. His leadership has been instrumental in HLS Linen Services shipping over 75 million pounds annually across two plants, with a vast operational reach across Ontario and Western Quebec. His extensive contributions include serving as IAHTM president and vice president, IAHTM Board Member, HLAC President, and frequent speaker at industry conferences. Rocco’s dedication to the industry is truly inspiring.

Azher Khan
A native of Karachi, Pakistan, Azher Khan is the Chairman of Calderon Textiles, Inc. Azher’s vision and leadership have propelled Calderon Textiles to new heights, serving the textile rental, healthcare, and cruise line industries. His journey began in the United States in 1972, earning degrees in International Relations and Public Administration before founding Calderon Textiles in 1983. Starting in his garage with little capital, Azher has grown the company into a significant industry player.
